PREVIOUSLY DEVELOPED
Previously developed business plans, feasibility studies, and legal testimony:
- Aquaculture—Fish farming is the production of fish on farms to supply the food market, hobby fish, and the ornamental market.
- Hydroponics—Growing plants in water with dissolved fertilizers and other nutrients.
- Organic vegetables—Production of vegetables without the application of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, or other chemicals.
- Heritage poultry—Non-GMO (genetically modified organisms) poultry derived from stocks in existence for long periods some even dating back to the founding of this country.
- Dairy goats—Goats selected and bred to produce milk.
- Malt barley—Barley that is germinated then dried and toasted to produce unique flavors in beer and other products.
- Butterfly farm—Screened or glassed in enclosures with flowering plants used to produce one or a variety of butterflies for viewing by tourists, for the live market and for the preserved specimen market.
- Greenhouses—The greatest operational costs for many greenhouses is the energy for heat. NCP Consulting designs greenhouses to maximize solar gain and heat storage to minimize fuel demands.
- Wood pellets—Residues from logging, lumbering and other wood working operations can be formed into pellets producing a renewable carbon-neutral fuel.
- Biomass utilization—About 75% of waste typically going to landfills is biomass and can be economically redirected to produce energy, chemicals, fertilizers, compost and other products.
- Hydrogen production—Wind and solar energy, typically placed on the grid for pennies per kilowatt, can be used to split water into hydrogen and oxygen storing the same amount of energy in 1 gallon of gasoline at a fraction of the current pump price of gasoline.
- Alternative energy—Energy from non-fossil fuel sources and derived from solar, wind, and geothermal sources.
- Water recycling—Water never wears out; it just gets loaded with wastes and is discarded. Rather than discarding, water can be processed by recycling to remove wastes and contaminants.
- Bamboo production—There are just over 1,200 species of bamboo in the world and many can be cultivated for timber, for food, for crafts and as ornamentals.
- Biosyndiesel—A synthetic and high value diesel fuel made from organic materials.
- Ethanol—An alcohol with two carbon atoms typically produced by fermentation of corn, sugar cane or other organics.
